The first stage in building a website is to establish what you want from the site. To do this we will initially arrange a meeting where you can give us your ideas and goals for the website. At this stage we will give our opinions on where you should aim to go with the site and what we realistically think you can achieve with the website.
Once we have established what you want to achieve with the website, we begin gathering data: This stage is heavily reliant on you (the Client). A website is all about content - in its simplest and most effective form a website is designed to show off your interests/services/products etc to users of the internet. As such, this stage is very important and we like to have all the information in a presentable format (an electronic copy with headings etc) before we proceed to the next stage.
Once we have a good idea of what you want from the website, we will begin designing it. Before we start any coding we will create a full design concept for the site. At this stage you (the client) have the chance to be very involved in the project - we will pass designs back and forth until we have the layout and design exactly how you want it.
Once we have all of the content and a solid design-concept we can begin coding the website - All of our sites are hand-coding using a mixture of HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP and Flash. Once we have drafted the first coded version of the site, you can see it "on line" and get a good idea of what the finished site will look like.
We will then make any alterations necessary and also put the site through vigorous testing - this includes checking the code for W3C validity, spell-checking the site and finally checking compatability among browsers (for which we use BrowserCam).
Once we have completed the project you will have a fully functional, bespoke website that has been coded to W3C standards (meaning it will be easily accesible by search engines such as Google).
Once your site is up and running we offer ongoing support to attract visitors to your site and also to make sure those visitors are converted into sales leads, read more here.
